With the advent of the recent pandemic we believe that we all have an unprecedented opportunity to learn from this disruption and accelerate the deployment of digital telehealth solutions as part of transformation for all healthcare economies throughout the globe.
We will actively continue to advocate for our cohort of vulnerable patients and the realisation of these long-term digital changes and opportunities.
Million stroke survivors

Every year, stroke affects 17 million of people worldwide, and it is estimated that there is around 80 million stroke survivors. In 2016, 5.5 million people died of a stroke.

The quality of healthcare and therapies improving translates to an increasing number of stroke survivors today. This increase in the number of survivors, living with the long-term complications of a brain injury and the related costs associated with stroke care, represents a growing burden for global healthcare economies. However rehabilitation post-stroke remains scarce once patients are discharged home. The implication involves deterioration in functional outcomes and quality of life, accompanied with higher costs for patients and care providers.
